Catching up on posting a few of the properties we've recently staged. Just staged on Monday and listed yesterday is this spacious condo with a fabulous location, in a quiet neighborhood right off of S. Lamar. We gave this one a cozy, modern look that will attract the young couples/families that love this neighborhood! Enjoy the photos and message me for listing details.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw a sneak peek of one of the properties we staged last week. Signature Real Estate Photography captured professional shots of this condo we staged at the Towers of Town Lake and her work beautifully highlighted every detail we planned for this property.
This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo steps from Town Lake and Rainey St. is coming soon to the MLS! Yesterday, I attended the Sherwin Williams Colormix 2017 Event to get in depth knowledge about the global trends that influenced the 2017 color palette. Each of the 4 color palettes, named Noir, Hollistic, Unbounded and Intrepid, consist of 10 beautiful colors.. Are you ready to make a color change in your own home or just incorporate a pop of one of these vibrant colors with accessories? Call me to schedule a color consultation! I can't wait to show you the new palette!
Happy Fall Ya'll! Here in Texas, we've finally had a few cooler mornings and evenings, which inspired me to start adding a few Fall touches to our home. I really don't do much decorating specifically for Fall, but try to bring some additional warmth and texture into some of our main spaces with little vignettes, while still working with the blues we have throughout the house. Here's a little peek into a few corners of our home to see the added touches. Front Porch Cowhide tray, mini white pumpkins and a white pumpkin candle in the Living Room White pumpkins and a little dose of orange to warm up the kitchen Life starts over print and a fresh flower for a dose of warm color added to our coffee corner Hydrangeas, rustic orb, blue glass vase and a mason jar with collected acorns and a tea light (put together by my son- stager in training) create a centerpiece for our dining table
Happy Friday! Ending the week with the virtual tour of our latest project in Garrison Park. Our goal was to highlight this completely remodeled home with pops of color and texture. Click the link to walk through the tour!
Annually, our team, The Austin Regional Chapter of Home Staging Professionals seeks out a service project in an effort to give back to our community. This year, we were excited to partner with Texas Advocacy Project to help a deserving family who has escaped domestic violence. We choose to make over several rooms in their home and added on an unexpected surprise at the end. We worked with some of the family's existing furnishings and added in some of our own selections purchased through donations to make this project a success. We kept the existing paint and shelving and purchased a bed, bedding, artwork and rug to turn the former playroom into a bedroom for the oldest boy who had previously been sharing a bed and bedroom with his two younger brothers. He requested orange bedding, plays soccer and LOVES his new room! There is even a trundle for sleepovers! Back in the shared room for the younger boys, two existing twin beds were bunked to create more floor space, We also purchased and painted a dresser to replace the older. broken one. With the final touches- new bedding, sheets, a rug, lamp and a few superhero accents, the boys have a new space that reflects their personalities. The Girls' shared room had great furniture and a beautiful DIY handpainted flowers on the walls. Fresh white bedding, sheets with purple and pink horses, fluffy pillows and a few new stuffed animals gave this room a fresh new look. Mom and Dad's only requests for their room were new lighter weight bedding and a TV for their room. The TV was installed (not pictured) and the fresh white bedding and new accent pillows made the room look so much larger. The final surprise was our donation of OVER 150 handbags! Our homeowner/survivor initiated the Handbags for Hope program for the Texas Advocacy Project. The purses collected are discreetly outfitted with the phone number to a hotline for victims of domestic violence. The bags are then distributed to area shelters and handed out to women seeking help from abuse. After seeing the changes inside the home and finding out about our truck full of purses being donated to Handbags for Hope on her behalf, our homeowner was brought to tears and so were we! Thank you to all who contributed to this project!

For those of you that follow me on Facebook, I mentioned the recent photo shoot of two of our recently staged properties with Summer Maluden/Signature Real Estate Photography. Thank you for all of the likes on the remodeled historic "Fixer Upper" style property! It seemed to be a popular with a lot of you, so I'll be happy to share any sources if you'd like to know where anything was purchased- just ask in the comments below. Today, I'd like to show you our shots of the second property-Greenpointe Condos. This 10 unit, East Austin, gated Condominium complex offers a modern, clean lined design with designer finishes. Today, I'm showing you our staging at unit E, which went under contract only 5 days after staging! I think Summer did a wonderful job of capturing the modern-transitional look we wanted to achieve. |
